Chuppah (2026)
- 1″ Cypress boards, 3/8″ Oak Dowels
- For me and J’s celebration of love in our backyard we wanted a Chuppah/Arbor for the ceremony that could stick around and be used as a trellis.
- Construction involved
- Laminating 4/4 Cypress together to make 2″x2″ posts.
- At the router table, adding a round over on each piece before assembly.
- Assembling each side flat then adding the geometric cross braces with dowels and glue.
- Cutting dowels flush and sanding smooth.
- Top pieces attach to the side pieces with square cutouts and counterbored holes.
- Simple Boiled Linseed Oil Finish, this piece will grey over time.

- Kitchen Windowsills (2025): In-Situ pain stripping and refinishing of 100 y/o Oak windowsills. Gap filling with window jamb. Added in oak skirting to connect to built-in bench seating.
